Job Description
As a Graduate Consultant or Consultant in our Cardiff office, you'll tackle technical work, manage projects, and find opportunities for personal development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Objectives:
- Undertake hydraulic and hydrological modelling using software such as Tuflow, Flood Modeller, HecRas, WINFAP, ReFH2, and Causeway Flow.
- Support hydrogeological and water quality assessments.
- Conduct outline Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) design for client planning applications.
- Participate in fieldwork, analysis, and report writing for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
- Utilize GIS and CAD tools for mapping and model outputs.
- Contribute to client reports, including leading smaller reports.
- Manage training and development for professional chartership.
- Manage multiple projects ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Progress to Project Manager for projects up to £5k in value within 6 months.
- Lead client proposals up to £5k in value after 6 months.
- Conduct market research to support the marketing plan.
- Participate in wider consultancy services.
- Progress to Consultant or Senior Consultant roles.
- Contribute to technical process improvement and software development.
- Act as Project Manager on larger projects.
- Lead higher value proposals and tactical marketing plans.
