Proximity Recruitment are searching for a talented Head of Sustainability (£70,000 + Car + Benefits) to join a global building materials business in the West Midlands. The role is a new position that spearheads this global firm’s sustainability agenda & owns the UK & Ireland strategy. The position benefits from hybrid working; typically, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. Responsibilities include: closely with Marketing & operations unit team to ensure maximises the value of its sustainability programme to key account customers. Sustainability Manager & to ensure all products have Environmental performance declarations, sustainability standards & accreditation are met as well as data reporting for sustainability report. an outstanding understanding of the sustainability needs of targeted key customers & based on that, deliver powerful sustainability propositions to prove value to their business. with key customers & suppliers & coordinated Group and divisional sustainability initiatives activities. & deliver individualised sustainability propositions for customer base. & deliver organisation processes such that all salespeople can present powerfully on the benefits of the sustainability programme. to briefs to develop sustainability strategies throughout the business, providing assets, toolkits and materials for regional teams where relevant. embed, a data driven, test & learn approach to inform & enhance marketing propositions. vendors & third parties to support delivery of marketing activities. a Sustainability Manager. The successful candidate would be owning, developing & growing the sustainability team for a global firm, engaging with schemes, joining committees, presenting at industry events & analysing the market to become & remain best in class.
