A financial services business who has experienced exponential growth is now looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The role
This Role Will Include
- Build effective supplier and partner relationships to ensure timely payment.
- Allocating payments to financial systems and accounts as a credit controller
- Mitigate cash exposure and help to manage payments to external partners
- Spot trends and risks and escalate to management as a credit controller
- Manage stakeholders and raise concerns over non-payments
- Cash collection via telephone as a credit controller
- Investigate queries and proactively chase late payments from suppliers.
- Develop and maintain records to track debt effectively and efficiently
- Continuously improve our debt collection processes and reduce outstanding debt as a credit controller
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the business
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding cash collection targets
The perfect candidate for the Credit Controller will have the following skills:
- At least 1+ years credit control experience in a similar fast paced business
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Complete and thorough understanding of end-to- end credit control processes
- Highly numerate, with the ability to process financial data quickly and with a strong attention to detail
