We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Major Projects team.

Reporting into the Head of Digital Engineering, you will work across our Major Project(s) projects to include taking data requirements from the business and translating those into technical solutions.

Key Accountabilities Will Include

  • Data Analysis, Modelling and Development - Characterisation of raw data to identify the gold source, identify the grain, dimensions, common business language and transformation required for coded or shortened terms
  • Requirements elicitation from business users - Elicitation of needs from team members and refinement of these into actionable features, user stories and tasks aligned to Wates standards, data strategy, and Major Project reporting requirements
  • Analyse, organize and refine raw data as ingested from existing and new systems to ensure conformity with Wates standards
  • Production of data-driven reports to align with Major Project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) sourced from various digital solutions
  • Skills training and coaching - creation of material and delivery of training within the Major Projects team and to other members of the Digital and Data teams business units and functions
  • In-life support and incident resolution - provide ongoing project support to ensure all data flows are structured, accurate, and maintained
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability and implement to support continuous improvement
  • Support the Wates Data and Digital teams in developing scalable data reporting solutions

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with experience of undertaking a full end-to-end role on multiple or complex projects/programmes.

To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative and effective communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels as well as the skills to breakdown complex problems and manage projects through to successful completion.
