Our client, a lean manufacturing giant is embarking on an exciting phase of growth!

We are looking for the right person torun the QC department and manage a small team of quality inspectors.

The Quality Control Manager will handle the daily challenges of the QC department, along with working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure all systems and procedures are maintained and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement quality procedures and standards company-wide.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to ensure quality of raw materials and purchased items.
  • Analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Supervise staff to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
  • Monitor production processes for quality compliance.
  • Conduct tests on raw materials and finished products.
  • Review and improve process and product specifications.
  • Investigate nonconforming products and processes for corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports to update management on quality performance.
  • Maintain records of quality tests and procedures.
  • Perform system audits to identify improvements.
  • Report to Senior Quality Manager on department effectiveness
