Are you handy with tools, passionate about maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and crave the satisfaction of keeping things running smoothly? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at our Kettle Foods factory!

 

Working as part of the engineering team to provide effective maintenance and repairs to fabrications throughout the factory.

Tasks will involve ;

  • Planned maintenance
  • Continuous improvements
  • Reactive support, internally and externally to the factory to ensure the factory is fully compliant with food standards.
  • Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Provide a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and repairs to building fabrications.
  • Work effective and efficiently to reduce the sites audit action plans.
  • For fill any paperwork and jog logs.
  • Escalation of any further works required.
  • Identification Improvement projects for repetitive problems.

 



Essential

  • Relevant qualification
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Time served experience.

Desirable

  • Skilled in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, civil and general repairs.
  • Civil ground works
  • Experience with legionella.
  • Experience of operating in a FMCG environment


Shift Pattern:  

  • 9 - 5 / 37.5 hours per week   

Salary:    

  • £28,000 per annum
