Please note: This role is a day shift role, 39 hrs per week, working 12 hours per day (7am to 7pm), on a 3 on 3 off basis (169 shifts per year).

Job Purpose

Movement of palletised finished goods, utilising counterbalance, reach and VNA fork lift trucks (FLT)

Key Accountabilities

  • Movement of palletised finished goods
  • Using counterbalance, reach and VNA fork lift trucks (FLT)
  • Loading and unloading of curtain sided vehicles
  • Putting away finished goods stock in appropriate locations
  • Order picking, pallet and cases
  • Checking customer orders at dispatch
  • Use of handheld scanners for picking customer orders and moving of stock
  • Use of computerized stock system for producing paperwork
  • Work in accordance with safe practices and maintaining a clean and tidy area

HSE Responsibilities 

Follows training & instruction in order to protect self and others, authorised to challenge unsafe behaviour. Will report safety concerns immediately and where possible take action to reduce risk of harm, engage in safety conversations and be involved in safety walks to build a safety culture.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Hold current, valid counterbalance license (essential)
  • It would be beneficial if you hold a VNA/reach forklift truck license (all other training will be provided)
  • Have experience in a fast moving, warehouse environment
