The Role If you're someone who thrives at the sweet spot between customer insight and technical delivery, this is your playground As a Product Owner at Kinetic, you'll be the person who makes sure we're building the right things—for the right reasons. You’ll turn customer needs into stories developers love to build. You’ll prioritise, test, challenge, champion, and deliver. And you’ll be surrounded by smart, driven people who love what they do This is your chance to shape the roadmap, amplify the customer voice, and help deliver products that make a real difference to people’s lives across higher education

Key Responsibilities
️ What You’ll Actually Be Doing- Talking to customers and internal teams to uncover what users actually need
- Owning and prioritising the product backlog like a pro
- Turning feedback, ideas, and problems into well-defined user stories and clear acceptance criteria
- Working closely with Engineering, UX, and Customer Success to get features built, tested, and launched
- Leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile rituals like a total team player
- Running user interviews, gathering feedback, and doing light data analysis to back up decisions
- Keeping everyone—from developers to stakeholders—aligned and excited about what’s next
- Measuring product performance and driving continuous improvements
- Supporting go-to-market efforts with Product Marketing and Sales teams
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We’d Love to Meet Someone Who…- Is a brilliant communicator, fluent in both customer needs and developer speak
- Has experience owning a backlog, defining user stories, and working in Agile
- Has a curious mind and uses data, research, and feedback to shape great products
- Can collaborate across functions and bring people together around a shared goal
- Knows how to keep momentum, manage complexity, and deliver real value
- Is excited about product discovery, delivery, and continuous iteration
Product Delivery & Execution: Experience leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and coordinating releases in an Agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Documentation & Communication: Ability to create clear product documentation, user guides, and release notes to support internal teams and customers.
