Regional Performance Supervisor – London Region

Job objectives and responsibilities

The Regional Performance Supervisor is the No2 in the region and the right hand person of the Regional Engineering manager, this is a critical role to the region being successful or not. You will be the link between line managers and senior managers , you will be responsible for data analysis of the region and spotting trends good and bad and calling these out. Your focus will be on the key metrics that ensure the region is running smoothly from Travel time(TT) , to Time on site(ToS) first time Fix(FTF) and correct van stocks , engineering availability , ensuring we keep 80% availability in the field to allow us to deliver world class customer service. You will also be keeper of our payroll an ensure all necessary checks and balances are in place to be presented to the REM for sign off.

Main duties

  • Ensure that we keep enough availability in the field ,we work on 80/20
  • Own the training matrix ensuring it is up to date and has all relevant information on this
  • Own the regional training plan and ensure it relates to the skills matrix closing the gaps in skills for the regions investing in our field workforce is vital
  • Run the open calls process for the region ensuring we are in total control of our WIH
  • Review Docket quality and feedback to the engineers when appropriate
  • Run weekly and daily cadence call with the REM to ensure the region is on track
  • Ensure work stack report is done daily
  • Ensure that Only costed for Overtime is completed
  • You should always be aware of your OT
  • Be an escalation point for in region problems
  • Assist REM with productivity, efficiency & utilisation
  • Timesheets
  • As other duties directed by REM

Person Specification

Essential

  • Management skills
  • Working knowledge of current standards and codes of practice
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and reliable.
  • Be highly Adaptable and have a willingness to work in a flexible fashion
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to asses technical risk
  • Strong ability to be able to interpret MI Data
