As a Social & Community Executive, you will be responsible for managing the brand’s social media channels, engaging with our community, and ensuring our platforms deliver best-in-class content and engagement. You’ll have a hands-on role in content scheduling, community management, and trend spotting, helping to grow and nurture our social presence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT & SOCIAL EXECUTION- Own the day-to-day management of all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, etc.), ensuring content is scheduled, published, and optimized for each platform.
- Support the execution of the social media content calendar, ensuring posts align with key brand and marketing moments.
- Assist in creating and briefing engaging content in collaboration with the creative team, ensuring it reflects the brand’s tone of voice and aesthetic.
- Monitor platform performance and adjust tactics accordingly, ensuring our content stays highly relevant and engaging.
- Manage and respond to community interactions, ensuring that all comments, DMs, and brand mentions receive an on-brand response.
- Identify key brand advocates and superfans, engaging with them to foster deeper brand loyalty.
- Manage the execution of social competitions including creating T&Cs, picking winners and the fulfilment of their prizes.
- Proactively participate in cultural conversations relevant to the brand, ensuring we have a voice in the most important online discussions.
- Flag and escalate any potential brand risks, customer concerns, or reputation management issues.
- Stay up to date with emerging social trends, platform updates, and viral moments, proposing creative ways for the brand to participate.
- Source and curate user-generated content (UGC) to enhance brand authenticity and credibility.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to test and implement new content formats.
- Track key performance metrics across social platforms, providing insights on engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Share learnings on what’s working, what’s not, and propose data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- A passion for social media and digital trends.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand copy.
- Highly organised with attention to detail in scheduling and content planning.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, or native platform tools).
- A keen eye for visuals and an understanding of what works best across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Experience in social media or community management
