THE ROLE
The CRM Executive will be responsible for the delivery and performance of BBC editorial newsletters and email marketing campaigns. This includes building and sending newsletters for daily deployment aligned with news schedules, as well as reviewing analytics and processes to provide recommendations.

THE ROLE
The CRM Executive will be responsible for the delivery and performance of BBC editorial newsletters and email marketing campaigns. This includes building and sending newsletters for daily deployment aligned with news schedules, as well as reviewing analytics and processes to provide recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Execute a high-volume, high-quality workload in a fast-paced, creative environment. Build, QA, and deploy multiple editorial email newsletters weekly using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Collaborate with journalists to ensure high editorial standards for each email sent.
- Compile relevant content and assets with stakeholders, managing expectations and schedules.
- Analyse email performance and present recommendations to CRM and editorial teams.
- Support CMS for email deployment and platform administration, including marketing and promotion emails.
- Implement A/B testing and best practices for deliverability and email rendering.
- Maintain and segment subscriber data, manage internal audience cross-promotion, and configure marketing automation campaigns.
- Diagnose and triage email platform challenges and communicate technical details effectively.
- Produce detailed documentation of email programs and workflows.
- Build understanding of our network of platforms to troubleshoot technical challenges
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA;
- Strong experience in newsletter/marketing email production.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS Excel, responsive email design.
- Working experience using enterprise-level Email Service Providers and CRM platforms
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM Act, data management, etc.).
- Experience working with and managing external vendors or agencies.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and be nimble with last minute changes
- Understanding of the BBC News and its place in the news media market.
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to manage email production.
- Experience of delivering multi-channel marketing automations.
- Basic campaign reporting and evaluation skills (using Tableau).
- Knowledge of AMPscript and SQL
