CAD/Landscape Technician

Neo Environmental, an award-winning planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for a CAD/Landscape Technician to join our landscape team, working on a broad variety of projects.

The position will offer the right individual the opportunity to work for a well-established and growing planning and environmental consultancy.

The successful candidate will work on projects including residential schemes, infrastructure and energy projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams. The role will ideally suit an individual with experience of working on the planning stages of renewable energy projects.

Duties

• Management of GIS data as well as producing GIS drawings.
• Production of 3D photorealistic photomontages
• Production of AutoCAD technical drawings
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Working as part of the broader landscape team
• Production of conceptual/master plans

Essential Criteria

• Previous AutoCAD experience is essential.
• ESRI ArcGIS experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience of Sketchup and Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator
• Ability to follow instructions/briefs with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure without compromising on quality.
• Creative flair and ability to present information in a visually attractive way.
• Eligible to work in the UK

• Strong scientific and engineering knowledge
• Experience of solar and/or wind farm projects
