Key objectives & responsibilities as our Operations Executive will include:

  • Managing the collection of outstanding payments from clients and insurers
  • Handling incoming calls relating to payment queries, outstanding balances, and general account enquiries
  • Processing payments and providing clients with accurate account updates
  • Handling direct debit queries related to premium finance agreements, including payment failures and disputes
  • Liaising with the premium finance company to resolve payment issues and maintain accurate records
  • Working with the IBA (Insurance Broking Accounts) team to assist in settling insurer accounts and ensuring accurate reconciliation
  • Investigating account discrepancies and resolving payment issues
  • Ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding balances and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Track and resolve outstanding insurer payments to support efficient cash flow and reconciliation processes.
  • Review and clear pending transactions to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency in the credit control function
  • Ensure all brokerage fees are compliant with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Perform regular file checks to confirm documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Maintain contract certainty by verifying that all terms and conditions are clearly defined and agreed upon.
  • Monitor the aged debtors list and coordinate with relevant teams to follow up on overdue client payments.
  • Evaluate and ensure the fair value of insurance products and complete annual assessments

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role
  • Strong telephone communication skills, with the ability to handle queries professionally and efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including the IBA team, to ensure accurate financial settlements
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
