Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Banking Associate to join their market leading team based in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to work within a corporate and leveraged finance team that deals with a variety of interesting practice areas including TMT finance, corporate lending, and venture debt and growth finance. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on projects not only in Manchester and London but also internationally through an extensive network.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Associate, your role will be diverse and challenging where your expertise in corporate lending and venture debt will be crucial in supporting early-stage businesses.
- Act on lending transactions across a wide variety of sectors and product areas.
- Work closely with clients spanning from established UK and international banks to private equity sponsors, corporates, and technology start-ups.
- Be part of the venture debt practice acting for venture debt providers and early-stage companies.
- Support over 100 early stage businesses, many of which are introduced as clients to the firm.
- Bring strong experience in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance.
- Manage junior associates/trainees and run transactions.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Associate position brings a wealth of experience in corporate lending or venture debt and growth finance. You will be committed to continuous learning and development, ready to take on new challenges. You will also bring:
- Proven experience in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance.
- Good working knowledge of LMA documentation.
- At least 6 years PQE.
- Ability to run transactions and manage junior associates/trainees.
