Step into the role of Process Design Analyst at Barclays, where you’ll join the Process and Procedure Team to help design and optimise business processes that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

This role centres on developing comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mapping complex process flows, while also supporting the design and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOMs). As a Process Design Analyst, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure processes align with strategic goals and are continually improved to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

You’ll also play a key part in transforming our digital capabilities—delivering unparalleled customer experiences through smarter, more efficient process design. This role can only be performed from Manchester.

To be successful as a Process Design Analyst, you should have experience with:


  • Experience in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong Business Analysis and strategic Target Operating Model experience.
  • Exceptional ability to drive strategic Business process design and associated workflow.
  • Proven knowledge of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures.
  • Experience of tools for documentation including JIRA, Confluence and Blueworks.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ and ACBS (Advance Computerised Banking System).
  • Excellent communication at all levels, including but not limited to verbal and written.


Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include


  • Lending /Servicing knowledge across all debt products.
  • Experience of using Agile project management would be preferred.
  • Knowledge & experience working closely with IT, Transformation & Change area.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas.

Accountabilities


  • Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations, using data led insights.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve performance & optimisation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development of reports and presentations on performance & optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments, and collaboration with stakeholders across the bank to provide recommendations for change and improvement within performance and optimisation processes.
  • Development and implementation of analytics and reporting performance & optimisation to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Identification of capacity creation in operations using data and Management Information.
