We share 56 holiday resorts in popular European destinations – by the sea, in the mountains or in cities. As a community, we share our economic, social and environmental responsibility. Our Edinburgh property, Hapimag Resort Edinburgh, located in Edinburgh’s exclusive West End, is currently looking for a part-time Receptionist.

You will be the first and main point of contact for our guests, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service at all times to ensure each guest has a unique holiday experience.

What you can expect

• Looking after all guests during their stay
• Completing check-in and check-out tasks
• Assigning rooms and issuing key cards
• Responding to guests’ needs and dealing with their requests
• Dealing with online and telephone reservations promptly
• Preparing invoices and accepting payments; closing the day’s accounts
• Informing guests about the main attractions, activities and events/exhibitions in the city, selling tours
• Replenish products in the Honesty Shop
• Preparing and packing bread orders for guests
• Assisting with emergencies or evacuations
• Nightly phone service for emergencies

What you bring along

• At least two years of experience at the reception desk or comparable function
• Very good knowledge of English, other languages are desirable, especially German and Italian
• Hospitable, enthusiastic and with a positive attitude
• Adherence to the required standards of dress, hygiene, appearance and punctuality
• Organisational skills, very good communication skills,
• Ability to work under pressure and alone
• Interest in improving the quality of products and services
