The Opportunity

In this role you will In this role you will work in partnership with the Bakeries, Suppliers and Customers to deliver Category Sourcing Strategies which deliver competitive advantage through, financial delivery, protecting the business from risk and transform supplier led innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive best-in-class cost optimisation strategies
• Support the development and execution of category plans
• Monitor market intelligence to inform purchasing decisions
• Champion responsible, sustainable, and ethical sourcing practices
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships
• Lead supplier-led innovation to support product excellence and commercial advantage

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a procurement function
• Graduate level qualification (CIPS preferred)
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• A keen analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel across the UK (with some occasional overseas travel)
• A proactive, hands-on, and can-do attitude
