Purpose of the Role
The purpose of an Associate Solutions Architect is to support the Solutions Architecture team in working with current and potential customers of IriusRisk. This role will focus on learning and applying foundational knowledge to assist in the implementation of IriusRisk threat modeling solutions. The Associate Solutions Architect will contribute to identifying areas for improvement that add value to our customer base and will develop their skills in creating these solutions under guidance. They will also begin to share knowledge through documentation and internal discussions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Solutions Architects in understanding client security requirements and contributing to the design of application security solutions using IriusRisk's platform.
- Develop a strong understanding of the latest security trends and technologies, and proactively seek opportunities to learn and expand knowledge within the team.
- Support the oversight of project tasks, contributing to timelines and deliverables under the guidance of senior team members to ensure projects are completed effectively.
- Contribute to the maintenance of clear and organized documentation of solution designs, best practices, and project learnings.
- Develop proficiency in IriusRisk's software and products to provide foundational guidance and support to clients, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Assist in providing training and ongoing support to clients to ensure they can effectively use IriusRisk solutions, under the direction of senior team members.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and other teams to learn about strategic alignment, gather feedback, and contribute to product enhancements through observation and internal discussions.
- This position will be required to support the US North America team and will require the individual to work during the appropriate time frame

Requirements:
Essential Skills And Experience
- Some experience or demonstrable interest in application security concepts.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and a willingness to learn how to introduce structured approaches.
- Exposure to or understanding of SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with or exposure to multi-cloud application deployment concepts.
- Basic scripting skills or a strong desire to learn (e.g., Python, .NET, Java).
- Understanding of the SDLC process.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding of security concepts, risk assessment principles, and mitigation strategies.
- Developing communication and client-facing skills with a willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Basic project management awareness and the ability to contribute to team tasks.
