What will you be doing?

Take Back Your Mind UK is offering an opportunity to step into a leadership role with a real impact. As a Member of our Board of Members, you will offer oversight and work in collaboration with our Board of Directors to provide governance to the organisation. Ensuring the organisation remains true to its mission at every step. This is a hands-on, heart-first opportunity to use your skills, creativity, and commitment to shape strategy, support volunteers, and strengthen our organisation from the inside out. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities Proposal Review and Decision-Making Evaluate and approve or reject proposals related to projects, funding, partnerships, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values. Provide constructive feedback on proposals to drive innovation and effectiveness. Attend and contribute to monthly board meetings, quarterly reviews, biannual organisation-wide meetings and participation in votes when called. Step into a designation within Take Back Your Mind UK, whether providing oversight to our social media, or leadership within one of our planned lived experience campaigns. Uphold governance, ensuring compliance with organisational, legal, ethical, and financial requirements. Review and respond to applications for the Board of Directors, ensuring the recruitment of skilled and mission-aligned individuals. Help define the organisation’s strategic vision, providing input for planning and developing objectives. Submit a short monthly report outlining your contributions, progress, and upcoming plans. Commit to a minimum of 8 to 12 hours/month, with flexibility for higher engagement during active project phases.
