Your Role
As a Machine Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all machine guidance systems run optimally, including installation, troubleshooting, and demobilisation.
- Reviewing 3D models for compliance and creating temporary models for upload via Works Manager.
- Setting up GNSS networks and establishing site control.
- Converting LandXML/DWG models into Trimble Business Centre and ensuring accurate uploads to machines.
- Assisting with QA surveys, reporting material quantities, and supporting site engineering functions.
- Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring it is regularly checked and calibrated.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A team player who can step up and lead when needed.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to add value and improve processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a surveyor in a machine control environment.
- CSCS Card and a full UK Driver’s Licence (4x4 training will be provided).
Desirable:
- Degree or HNC in surveying or a related field.
- Professional registration as a surveyor.
