Role Purpose

Drive HCP advocacy and initiations across the pre-term portfolio to drive market share growth. Understand and monitor the usage and route to market of Aptamil & Cow & Gate milks in hospital settings.

Key Activities

BUSINESS PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

  • Develop a data backed Pre-Term customer strategy to maximise opportunities
  • Understand and drive the route to market for both Pre-Term and Aptamil/Cow & Gate milks
  • Implement a process to understand and report on the usage of Aptamil/Cow & Gate

SALES, PROFIT AND MARKET SHARE

  • Drive HCP advocacy and initiations through clinical benefit selling
  • Encourage higher usage / competitor switch through clinical arguments
  • Understand route to market opportunities to drive topline and profit growth

CUSTOMER IMPACT & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Manage customer relationships
  • Develop a clear national customer segmentation and focus resources accordingly
  • Effective management and mobilisation of KOLs/Commercial advocates, supporting involvement in customer symposiums and educational meetings as appropriate
  • Identify key influencers who may nationally influence the NHS agenda and other NHS bodies and develop relationships to support the creation of a favourable environment for the promotion of the portfolio

INTERNAL COLLABORATION

  • Engage cross functionally to drive business growth providing insights into key business processes & forums

The territory for this role is Scotland and North / North East ( Yorkshire & Humber) of England, therefore you will need to be based in one of those locations.

The fixed term contract is for 12 months, ending May 2026.

Salary range for this role is £45,000 - £50,000.

We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills

  • A partnership led approach and strong customer focus, combined with robust negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of the changing NHS and ability to adapt in line with evolution
  • Highly organised with strong business planning skills and attention to detail
  • Collaboration; equally focused on achieving targets as well as contributing to the overall success of the business
  • Ideally, a history of strong sales performance in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
