Education: Successfully completed apprenticeship or a comparable international qualification.
Professional experience: At least three years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or as a legal assistant in a company.
International expertise: Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
Language skills: English language skills are a must, other language skills is an advantage.
IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Personality: Discretion, professionalism and a team-orientated way of working.

CML Construction Services Limited, being an integral part of STRABAG UK limited is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Assistant to join their team in London.

Below you will find the tasks you will be entrusted with:
Office Management: Ensuring a smooth daily office routine in an international environment.
Communication & Correspondence: Professional internal and external communication in German and English.
Document management: Structured administration, digital filing and maintenance of legal documents with specialised legal software.
Deadline & appointment management: Monitoring of deadlines as well as coordination and planning of appointments, discussions and meetings.
Support for legal & contract management: Proactive support for lawyers and contract managers in administrative and organisational matters.
Event organisation: Planning and implementation of meetings, negotiations and events.Make all travel and accommodation arrangements, when necessary, including all elements of international travel.
Operate as the key contact between the Managing Directors, other directors, senior managers and senior staff.
Manage internal/external communications and arrangements on behalf of the Legal team and Contract Management team, including communication with other international business units within the group.
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages and competent in IT activities.Prepare presentations using PowerPoint and other media.
Provide routine and ad hoc management information and reports.
Prepare and review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting and/or technical accuracy.
Create and maintain paper and computer-based filing systems.
Conduct financial duties, for example, processing invoices.
Always uphold confidentiality and respect sensitivities.
Order and maintain stationery and equipment supply as required.
Other tasks as assigned by the Legal team and Contract Management team
