Job Title: Dispatch Operative

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Crossgate Drive, Nottingham, NG2 1LW

Salary: £12.77 per hour

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday – 07:15 until 19:15

Based at our Palethorpe's Bakery in Market Drayton, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our savoury squad as Warehouse Operative's. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all hings pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team!

We’re looking for a dedicated Logistics Dispatch Operative to join our team and make a real impact in ensuring high-quality food products reach their destinations efficiently and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Dispatch Operative, you’ll be an essential part of the logistics function, taking charge of:

• Order Picking & Assembly: Accurately picking customer orders using scanning guns and preparing products for safe transit.
• Stock Management: Keeping the factory stock system up to date, replenishing pick slots, and ensuring seamless putaway processes.
• Vehicle Loading & Unloading: Maintaining accuracy in outbound loads and receiving deliveries with care.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet high standards, are in date, and are free from damage.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Essential Skills: Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and PPT licenses.

• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.

• Confidence in working with external drivers and excellent communication skills in English.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
