What you will enjoy doing

• You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery of BOC products and services to end-users on key customer sites as a Site Services Operative
• You will also support the On Site Customer Manager in achieving profitable growth targets and maintaining a safe working environment
• Your main duties will include order processing and delivery receipting, delivering compressed gas cylinders and cryogenic liquids, coordinating BOC site activities with other branches, assisting with portfolio retention and acquisition of competitor business, managing inventory, resolving customer queries and issues, maintaining customer relationships, and reporting safety and environmental concerns
• Additionally, you must regularly report on competitor activities and ensure proper management of gas and cryogenics movement and storage
• Occasionally, you may be required to assume some of the manager’s responsibilities in their absence.
• You will prepare progress reports and management information and communicate with end-users, supply branches, Cryospeed, Special Products, and Gas & Gear outlets regarding BOC products and services

What makes you great

• Knowledge of BOC products and services including industrial, medical, special gases, bulk liquids, Cryospeed, hard goods, and safety products is essential to this role
• You will have experience working with safe operating procedures in a manual handling environment
• Possession of a full clean driving license and relevant categories is essential
• Experience with processing transactions in SAP is preferred
• The Site Services Operative should possess excellent communication and customer relationship skills with at least a GCSE level of education
