Pride Veterinary Centre is a leading multi-disciplinary veterinary referral hospital serving as the flagship small animal centre for the Scarsdale Veterinary Group. In addition to supporting the group, we provide specialist referral services to veterinary practices throughout the Midlands and beyond. Our expert team offers advanced care in Anaesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Exotic Animal Medicine, and Dermatology. The hospital operates 24/7, supported by our dedicated on-site ‘Vets at Night' team and equipped with a comprehensive range of cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies. We are proud to collaborate with the University of Nottingham, hosting students who rotate through our referral departments as part of their clinical training.

The Team
Our exceptional Client Care Team plays a vital role in delivering a seamless and compassionate experience for our clients and their pets. As a Client Care Advisor, you will join a team of highly skilled professionals who are trained to an outstanding standard. Your role will be key in ensuring that clients and their pets are promptly and efficiently directed to the care they need. A collaborative mindset and a passion for client service are essential, allowing you to make a meaningful and visible impact.
The Role
As a Client Care Advisor at Pride Veterinary Centre and associated sites, you will enjoy a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. We are looking for individuals who can maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanour, regardless of workload or circumstances. Your responsibilities will include handling referral calls from other veterinary practices, booking appointments, responding to client queries in person and over the phone, processing payments, and providing reassurance and support to pet owners. A keen eye for detail and a genuine enthusiasm for client interaction are critical. Many clients travel long distances for our specialist care, and showing empathy and understanding for their situation is highly valued.
Required Skills And Experience
This is a part-time position offered on a flexible contract. You will also be part of a weekend rota, with shifts scheduled between 8 am and 11 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Rotas are published at least four weeks in advance, with the expectation of flexibility to cover core hours during the week. Additional hours may be available to cover staff absences and holidays. Required Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in a client-facing role
- Flexibility and adaptability
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Strong team spirit
- Genuine love for animals
- Familiarity with the veterinary industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Formal training in customer service
- Problem-solving ability
- Professional demeanour
