Are you ready to take your career to the next level? UKPN Services are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Staff Supervisor to join their team at Heathrow Airport. The Field Staff Supervisor ensures the performance of assigned field teams in the Area and will interface with the other Supervisors, Managers, Field Engineers and Planners in the Region to ensure that the best possible utilisation of resources is achieved, and the highest levels of on-site productivity are realised. You will be an essential member of the Project team. The Project team delivers the programme of work associated with new build and upgrades to the network, repairing network faults and carrying out Network Asset Management Plan (NAMP) replacement works. The postholder is required to support and achieve the goal of zero harm in all aspects of their work
As Field Staff Supervisor, you will be an important member of the Area management team and will ensure that jobs are undertaken safely and following design, airport operations and contractual requirements. you will also take an important role in collaborating with the civil team and other contractors to ensure maximum productivity on site. You will lead a team to achieve a sustainable culture, company values and safety achieved by:
- Ensure compliance with procedures
- Demonstrate visible leadership by regular site visits
- Lead by example and demonstrating safe working practices and behaviours
- Monitor the health and wellbeing of all staff ensuring that control strategies for managing health hazards are complied with.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of around 20 craftsperson’s, ensuring high standards of safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with Supervisors, Managers, Field Engineers, and Planners to optimise resource utilisation and improve customer experiences.
- Oversee project and fault management, ensuring quality and consistency in jointing and defect rectification, to improve the utilisation of staff.
- Manage the transport fleet, plant, and equipment to meet operational requirements.
- Support the Operations Manager in strategic vision and implementation.
- To interpret and act in response to management reports that go to the Client Delivery Managers that are supportive in the monitoring and control of resources, including balanced scorecard to ensure the return of all work packages observing service and quality standards such as Information and Incentives Project (IIP) and International Standards Organisation (ISO) documentation.
