Would you like to be part of a team that is driving dynamic and exciting changes to their people practices? Our forward-looking People and Culture team have an opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to join them.
As a People & Culture Business Partner you will be supporting the business to deliver against their people strategy. You will work in partnership with the respective management and leadership teams, providing high quality HR and employee relations advice nationally, as well as supporting the design and implementation of strategic change projects. You will be leading local improvements to employee experience, talent management and capability in each group, as well as supporting the Group People & Culture Director on national change and improvement projects.

If you have worked in a HR team where you have collaborated closely with your colleagues in Recruitment and Learning and Development, then this role will allow you to foster the culture of cross collaborative team working. You should also have experience in spotting issues, designing solutions and delivering HR improvement projects. Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a forward-looking People & Culture team aspiring to be a Top 100 business to work for and an Investors in People Gold to Platinum accredited business
- Coach and advise leaders and managers on policies and employment law to increase awareness and improve management capability. Attend management meetings where required
- Develop strong collaborative relationship with the Senior Employee Relations Advisor to ensure alignment on employee relations strategies
- Act as a conduit between your business unit and the wider People & Culture Team, providing constant communication and feedback so we can deliver a high-quality service
- Lead improvements to our employee experience and retention of top talent
- Support the wellbeing of all staff at all careers levels through proactive wellbeing action plans to strengthen the opportunity for resilience across the business unit
- Support the Group People & Culture Director and relevant leadership teams with the identification of talent development and training needs to support career development, and succession planning processes
- Drive and develop the culture of Pick Everard and be a values ambassador for the business. Continuously improving practices, policies, processes in support of this

Technical competency requirements:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards), or the ability to demonstrate comparable experience.
- Experience of working within a HR Business Partner role.
- Good working knowledge of employment law.
- Prior experience of supporting a workforce employed on a variety of knowledge and professional standards.
- Proven ability to deliver company-wide projects as an individual or within a team.
- Experience of delivering change and improvements projects in a HR environment is desirable
- High levels of personal resilience and calm under pressure
- Have the confidence to challenge positively
- Can maintain personal effectiveness by managing own emotions in the face of pressure, set-backs or when dealing with provocative situations.
- Credible, persuasive and able to quickly build effective working relationships by engaging and influencing in a positive manner
