The Lanes Group Rail division require an experienced Night Engineer Supervisor to work on various projects within the Rail sector to boost the team and manage our increased workload in and around the Rainham area.

About The Role

Night work 9pm Sunday to 5am Friday. The Night Engineer Supervisor would be in charge of the other operatives in the crew. Collaborating with the Day Manager to ensure the smooth running of works. When required, rearrange crews/works when staff are sick/ works cancelled. Be the main point of contact, for both the client and engineers, at night.

About You

You’re a hard worker, keen to be part of a strong team, great customer service, so you’ll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary.

The ideal candidate must have 2 year’s experience with an in-date track certificate, must have carried out both protection and COSS on a regular basis, hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points. Drainage experience and experience in a supervisory role preferred but not essential.

  • Delivers works of a high standard
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points (essential)
  • Familiarity with railway infrastructures (desirable)
