Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented professional looking for a rewarding role in a compassionate environment? We are seeking a Care Home Administrator to join our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dementia care home.
At Manor Court Plymouth, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support for individuals living with dementia. Our team works together to create a warm and welcoming environment, where residents feel safe, valued, and respected.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing administrative tasks, including maintaining records and handling correspondence.
- Supporting the home manager with scheduling, financial administration, and compliance.
- Liaising with residents' families, staff, and external agencies with professionalism and empathy.
- Handling enquiries and providing essential information to prospective residents and their families.
- Ensuring smooth HR processes, including recruitment administration and payroll support.
- Managing invoices, payments, and general bookkeeping duties.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong administrative skills with experience in a healthcare or care setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient approach when working with residents and their families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
