English Graduate - Teaching Role in Alternative Provision (Milton Keynes)

Are you an English graduate with a passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people? Do you want to use your subject knowledge to support learners in a structured yet nurturing environment?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist education team within an Alternative Provision in Milton Keynes, supporting young people aged 11-17 who present with SEMH needs and/or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

Teach English in a therapeutic and supportive setting
Structured 25-hour weekly timetable across a broad, creative curriculum
Work with a team of dedicated educators, LSAs, SENCOs and external professionals
Opportunity to develop your skills in SEN, EAL and differentiated learning

Support young people to gain GCSEs, Functional Skills and vocational qualifications
Ideal Candidate
Recent English graduate or holder of a related degree
Passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships
Interest or experience in EAL, SEMH, or Alternative Provision is an advantage
