We are seeking an Early Talent Attraction Assistant to join the Claims Solutions Group Talent Attraction team on a 6 month fixed term contract to support the growth of the Early Talent element of our Talent Attraction strategy. This would be an ideal opportunity for a HR or Recruitment Administrator, passionate about early talent attraction and looking to gain some experience for the next step in their career The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient recruitment service to stakeholders, external candidates and internal colleagues on our Early Talent opportunities (Apprenticeships, Paralegals and Claims Handlers). This will involve supporting the Early Talent Attraction Advisor with coordinating the recruitment for these positions and supporting the transition of successful candidates into the business and being a key point of contact for Early Talent Attraction enquires in to the team Who you’ll be working with You will be an integral part of the CSG Talent Attraction team providing an Early Talent service which will continually evolve. You will ensure our Early Talent Pipelines focus on the skills we need to continue to provide a bespoke market leading client service. This role would be contracted to Birmingham or Newport and would include attendance at assessment centres, careers fairs, schools, colleges and universities across the UK. However, we are a team of 5 that work remotely across the country and would therefore welcome applications from all locations given significant home working will be supported subject to the ability to travel to Birmingham and Newport


What you will do?


  • Support the Early Talent Attraction Advisor with all recruitment activity associated with Paralegal, Claims Handling and Paralegal Apprentice vacancies.
  • Support all trainee recruitment activity for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  • Coordinate assessment day activity including, planning and preparation of assessment centres and welcoming candidates on the day and overseeing the assessment day activity
  • Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders, recruitment advisors, HRBP's and the wider HR team
  • Effectively manage relationships with colleges / schools and universities ensuring our approach links in with the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, including coordinating open day / evening events and career fairs
  • Manage all queries that are received from prospective candidates / colleagues about our early talent offering
  • Support ad hoc project work and co-ordination of on-boarding activities


Who you are


  • Proven experience of working in a HR or Recruitment environment would be highly beneficial
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about early talent attraction and may have worked in this area previously or within an education careers service or similar
  • Keen to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and deal calmly with deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
