Location:Hybrid (Home / Reading Office, UK)
The BCI is the global membership association of choice for business continuity and resilience professionals with more than 9,000 members in over 120 countries.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to support the delivery of revenue-generating marketing activity across our portfolio of products and services. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on campaign execution rather than strategy. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition, retention, and product engagement through tactical marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to support:

- Membership
- Education and Training programmes
- Thought Leadership and Knowledge resources
- Events and Membership offers
- Corporate Membership growth
- Create compelling, audience-specific email and digital content to generate leads and conversions
- Use CRM data (when fully operational) to segment audiences and tailor campaigns to previous buyers and warm prospects
- Support the promotion of new products, ensuring awareness and uptake in key segments
- Monitor, report, and optimise campaign performance against KPIs such as open rates, click-throughs, conversions and revenue
Market Development Campaigns
- Assist in the execution of international growth marketing, particularly in the US and Middle East
- Run region-specific campaigns designed to acquire new members and retain existing ones
- Adapt content and messaging for different markets while maintaining brand consistency
- Work with external suppliers and partners (e.g., designers, translators) as needed to localise campaigns
Marketing Operations
- Manage Email Campaigns
- Social media management (organic and paid)
- Google Ads
- Coordinate marketing calendars and campaign schedules
- Liaise with internal teams to gather content, assets and information for campaigns
- Maintain campaign performance reports and help track RO
Skills:
Essential Skills:
- 13 years of marketing experience in a B2B or membership-based organisation
- Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, particularly for email and digital content
- Strong understanding of email marketing tools and digital channels
- Strong understanding of paid campaigns including Google Ads and LinkedIn Advertising.
- Experience using CRM systems or marketing automation tools
- Comfortable using campaign data to assess performance and make recommendations
- Well-organised with good attention to detail and time management
Desirable Skills:
- Experience marketing to international audiences, especially in the US or Middle East
- Experience with paid social or PPC campaign coordination
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe)

This is a full time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm.
This role is predominantly home-based with attendance at the office in Reading approximately once a week.
