We are looking for a Day Security Team Leader to work with our Day Team respectively.
You will lead a team of officers in the delivery of a high profile, professional and efficient security service and to ensure it is provided in all areas of the business and aligned to risk and threat levels across multiple varied sites.
Reporting to the Deputy Security Operations Manager you will ensure the delivery of a high quality, student focussed Security service. You will support them in the development and maintenance of the University’s security systems and procedures, enabling the University’s teaching, learning and management needs.
As a Security Team Leader you will play a key supporting role in the University Business Continuity and incident management process and procedures in line with risk and business needs. You will be responsible for the creation and regular reviewing of security policies, procedures, and risk assessments in your area of work. This includes reviewing work practices and assessing the training needs for your team.
You will manage the staff and resources within your team to meet agreed service levels and performance targets including 24/7 critical support. To ensure best value for money is achieved from Security services working with the Deputy Security Operations Manager within the present financial parameters.
