Key Responsibilities:

Physical Security Administration:

  • Support our Physical Access Security Lead with the running of our access control system (ProWatch), ensuring staff and visitors have appropriate access.
  • Conduct audits and manage the joiners and leavers process.
  • Monitor and react to CCTV systems and assist with access requests and visitor management.
  • Compile and interpret comprehensive security reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with landlord security and share best practices across the estate.
  • Ensure compliance with key management processes and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with emergency response teams and participate in emergency drills and training sessions.
  • Investigate security incidents and breaches, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.

H&S Coordination:

  • Support the Facilities Health and Safety Lead in conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Help maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, safety data sheets, and training records.
  • Participate in safety meetings and assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on health and safety initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees to report safety concerns or incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with Display Screen Equipment (DSE) regulations and promote ergonomic workstation setups in our offices


  • Conduct regular inspections of the offices to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Assist in the investigation of workplace accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support emergency response planning and participate in emergency drills.

Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Internship or related experience in health and safety or environmental compliance (preferred).
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
