We're recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Chemistry
The Infection Innovation Consortium, known as iiCON, brings together the North West’s largest concentration of infectious diseases research in a new £120M programme. It capitalizes on the region’s track record in working on active translational research into antimicrobials, vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics. This particular workpackage within iiCON aims to assemble and screen a natural microbial isolate library with the aim of identifying novel antimicrobial molecules.
Within this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of projects within the antimicrobial, chemotherapy and resistance space including preparation and screening of derivatives of molecules found to have antimicrobial activity within our inhouse screening of our microbial isolate library.
