Responsibilities
As our new National Account Manager, Worktops DSV, you’ll lead and grow the DSV (Direct Serve Vendor) sales channel. Your focus: driving sustainable sales, profitability, and positioning us as the supplier of choice.
- Own the full commercial performance of the DSV channel
- Develop and deliver account plans to grow revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction
- Identify and convert product and business opportunities into listings
- Forecast accurately and hit weekly and long-term targets
- Plan and execute promotions and channel strategies in line with business goals
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, and Customer Service
- Monitor market and competitor trends to inform planning
- Ensure contracts are current and compliant
- Control costs, streamline processes, and ensure top-tier service
- Stay updated on product and market developments
About You:
- Proven success managing national accounts
- Professional experience ideally in B2B/distribution within the decorative surface industry, interior design or fashion
- Skilled in negotiation, sales, and stakeholder management
- Commercially astute – confident with pricing, cost-to-serve, and margins
- Clear communicator and strong presenter
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills
- Collaborative team player who influences across functions
- Proactive, curious, and improvement-oriented
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willing to travel nationwide, with overnight stays as needed
The role is National sales on the road and would not be office-based. There will be need to attend local sites for visitor meetings, sales meetings. Our two main headquarters are based in Shildon, County Durham and Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
