Rotating Equipment Engineer
Join a leading player in the oil and gas industry as a Rotating Equipment Engineer, where you will provide essential engineering support to offshore assets in the UK North Sea.
Role Overview
- Provide day-to-day discipline engineering support for an offshore asset.
- Lead work preparations to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
- Conduct quality control on maintenance work and ensure readiness for execution.
- Apply knowledge of rotating equipment to achieve specified performance criteria.
- Mechanical Engineering: Strong foundation in mechanical principles.
- Turbine Systems: Knowledge of turbines, particularly SGT200/Tornado.
- Rotating Equipment: Familiarity with centrifugal compressors, dry gas seals, submerged SW lift pumps, API pumps, and NFPA fire pumps.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of UK HSE regulatory requirements and legislation framework including Safety Case and Performance Standards.
- SAP Skills: Proficiency in SAP preferred.
- Qualifications: Degree level (BSc or MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience working for a UK Oil and Gas Operator in asset engineering and maintenance support.
- Competitive daily based on qualifications and experience.
