The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Programme Manager to spearhead mission-critical business initiatives driven by the Transformation Office. You will work closely with other members of the Transformation Office and have the opportunity to work with stakeholders to deploy and manage transformation projects across the organisation.
This pivotal role will blend strategic oversight and contribute to projects with practical programme management, reporting into the Chief Transformation Officer. The role will be business end-to-end, across all departments, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider leadership team and relevant stakeholders to drive high-impact initiatives that shape the future of Bright.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of strategic projects with a focus on systems
implementation, M&A integration, operational excellence and process improvement. This position offers the opportunity to deliver measurable business impact at scale for an accomplished programme management professional that presents a platform to significantly influence our strategic direction while expanding your executive leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Programme Management
-Be part of a team that works with various stakeholders in the business to ensure business priorities and operational targets are being met
-Deploy and manage the implementation of specific strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across Bright
-Plan, manage and execute a variety of cross-functional projects, particularly focusing on:
- Internal systems consolidation
- Data and business intelligence enhancements
- Process and operational improvements
- Acquisition integration work-streams
- Establish project governance, timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics
- Coordinate efforts across various functions to achieve operational efficiency
- Implement effective change management processes to ensure smooth transitions
Business Support & Communication
- Act as a key point of contact for strategic initiatives, be part of the Transformation Office team, and serving as liaison between the Transformation Office and wider organisation
- Ensure appropriate information is cascaded down, across, and up throughout the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates to the Chief Transformation Officer
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to appropriate stakeholders
Operational Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operations in line with overall business objectives
- Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Connect work streams that may otherwise remain siloed, identifying efficiencies and synergies
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in either Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project/programme management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with AI concepts and experiences using AI-powered tools
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and practical execution
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Preferred
- Experience working in SaaS, software, or technology companies
- Master's degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
