What You Will Enjoy Doing
- This is an exciting role which is critical in developing the behaviours that will move the transport team from a reactive dependant safety culture to an inter-dependant culture where employees take greater accountability for their own and their colleague’s actions
- You will be responsible for the training and development of all drivers within a specific region, with the aim to meet all requirements of the HPO SHEQ principles of line ownership, delegated responsibility and empowerment / engagement of the driver groups
- Responsible for the SHEQ performance and behaviours within his area in order to achieve improved Safety performance – measured through lagging indicators
- Furthermore, you will develop and deliver training programmes associated with the transport function such as; the driver CPC), which requires personal certification from an external competent authority
- Ensure that standards are met in accordance with our Linde policies
- Finally, you will act as a competent authority in authorising drivers competence
- You have the ability to provide impartial assessment and training
- Excellent communicati on and interpersonal skills
- In addition, you have great i nfluencing, communication and presentationskills
- Extensive Knowledge and understanding of Bulk Transport operations, Bulk supply chain, Bulk processes, technical developments, product properties
- You have a minimum of 3 years driving experience with a Full LGV licence ( all classes), Driver CPC, Forklift ruck license (where applicable) and ADR (relevant classes)
- Furthermore, you have a formally recognised train the trainer qualification to deliver training in – SMITHS system, Manual Handling Techniques, DCPC, Tachograph training
- You have a membership to the official bodies such as; IAM,ROSPA,DSA
- If you have a national CPC or a NEBOSHH certificate this would be desirable but can be trained by us
