Your kindness and generosity will make it possible for many individual charities and nonprofits to double or even triple their fundraising income. More fundamentally though we are offering an opportunity to shape the philanthropy of a nation and to create an experience of giving that can be genuinely transformative for both the donor and those they seek to serve.
What are we looking for?
Trustees should Bring diverse perspectives and experiences to our governance Understand the nonprofit sector and the challenges of modern fundraising Share our vision that philanthropy should be transformative for both donors and beneficiaries Can commit to active board participation and strategic leadership Possess expertise in areas such as nonprofit governance, strategic planning, financial management, academic research, global partnerships, or marketing/communications
What will you be doing?
Through our research in the scientific field of Philanthropic Psychology we seek to grow the human capacity to love. Our initial studies have shown how philanthropy can be doubled, while simultaneously increasing the wellbeing that donors experience as a consequence of their giving. Our challenge now is to scale the impact of this knowledge for the wider benefit of society. We are thus looking for a trustee with experience of scaling innovative solutions to social problems and who can help us to think through the next steps of our journey. Ideally we're looking for trustees with the right experiences to help guide our organization through a number of key challenges and opportunities Expanding our global reach and impact through innovative research initiatives Strengthening partnerships with organizations across the philanthropic sector Developing sustainable revenue models that support our charitable mission Advancing our thought leadership in the emerging field of philanthropic psychology Building a philanthropic culture that embodies our values in all that we do
