Caretaker

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Caretaker to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Carry out opening and locking procedures for the building
• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist in planned preventative maintenance programs
• Make sure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working correctly
• Observing and reporting
• Helping with movement of furniture etc
• Other reasonable tasks as required
  
  
  

Our Ideal Caretaker Will

• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Work as a team member.
• Some knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Preferred experience in building maintenance.
• Preferred understanding of boiler plant operation.
• Experience of caretaking, cleaning and security.
• Ability to assist in preparation of planned maintenance programs.
