Providing vision and leadership for the charity’s fundraising and grant applications, to achieve the mission and goals of the two projects Collaboration for Kids (CFK) and Food Addiction Solutions (FAS).

What are we looking for?

Essential Formal Financial qualifications and / or training as a Finance Manager or an Accountant Fundraising and grants experience from within the UK Working experience of UK legislation, charity regulations and key funding bodies in the UK. Excellent organisational and communication skills Ideally experience of working within the voluntary sector with a wide variety of stakeholders Excellent written and oral communications skills in English Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to establish and maintain effective working and collaborative relationships Demonstrable planning and organisational skills Familiarity with and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications for professional presentations (Word, Excel & PowerPoint as a minimum) Desirable International fundraising knowledge and experience Language skills in addition to English

What will you be doing?

As Fundraising Team Lead, reporting to the CEO of The CHC, and working closely with the operational leads of the two projects, CFK and FAS, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following Defining the strategy, setting SMART Goals and leading the Funding & Grants Team(s) within The CHC, as appropriate, to achieve the funding needs of the two projects CFK and FAS, based on their goals. Supporting the building of your team(s), with appropriately qualified people and sufficient resources, to achieve the funding needs, goals and strategic objectives of the two projects. Providing leadership and developing a fund raising and grants strategy Creating opportunities and hands-on representation with potential partners Co-ordination and support for all activities related to fundraising, including applying for and secure funding Growing and strengthening relationships between the charity and its donors/supporters.
