Are you looking to use your HR expertise to make a real difference in a mental health charity?
This is a key role at the heart of our People function, supporting managers, advising on employee relations, and helping to embed fair, consistent people practices across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the Head of People and colleagues across West Central London Mind to create a positive, inclusive working environment where staff feel supported and valued.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days look the same. You’ll support employee relations (ER) casework, advise on recruitment and onboarding, contribute to learning and development, and help shape policy and people systems, all while working closely with the wider People team.
You will:
- Coaching managers through day-to-day people matters, from performance management and absence to formal casework
- Advising on restructures, change processes, and TUPE, working in partnership with our leadership team
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding in collaboration with the People Officer and wider team
- Driving forward our learning offer by identifying needs and contributing to training delivery
- Helping maintain a smooth-running HR system and accurate people data across the organisation
About you:
We’re looking for someone CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it), with solid HR generalist experience and a strong foundation in ER casework. You’ll be confident working with managers, balancing legal compliance with empathy and practicality. A collaborative mindset, great communication skills, and a belief in fairness, equity and inclusion are essential.
