This is an exceptional opportunity to be a crucial part of our groundbreaking initiative as an SAP S/4HANA Implementation Project Manager. This is a temporary role for 6 months initially, with the potential to be permanent long term. In this role, you will lead and drive complex projects across various business functions, leveraging your deep expertise in SAP methodologies.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Implementation Project Manager who excels in stakeholder management, and has a strong command of Atlassian tools, especially Jira. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, from start to finish.
  • Build, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams including internal resources, external consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Manage project activities across SAP S/4HANA modules, including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Reporting.
  • Oversee data migration and integration processes.
  • Align business processes with SAP S/4HANA solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Implement effective contingency plans.
  • Manage project budgets efficiently and report on variances.
  • Utilise Jira and Atlassian tools for planning, tracking, and managing project tasks and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or Prince2 certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex SAP implementation projects, specifically SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proven track record in leading multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Expert proficiency with Jira and the Atlassian suite.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of UK business practices and regulations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the publishing industry.
  • Familiarity with additional SAP modules and technologies.
  • APICS certification is a bonus.
