About The Role
As a Detective Sergeant in CID, you will:
- Lead serious and complex criminal investigations with integrity, quality, and victim focus
- Manage and develop a team of investigators, providing strong leadership and welfare support
- Deliver proactive investigative strategies that disrupt criminal activity
- Build effective partnerships with victims, communities, and partners
- Drive high professional standards across your investigations and team
We Want Outstanding Leaders Who
- Hold substantive Detective Sergeant rank (or are eligible for promotion or confirmed transfer)
- Have extensive experience in serious and complex investigations
- Are confident decision-makers, effective communicators, and inclusive leaders
