Job Summary
The Cargo & Logistics Executive will oversee and coordinate the transportation, documentation, and delivery of perishable products from point of collection to final destination—both domestically and internationally. This hands-on role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in logistics and export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of perishable logistics, including planning, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise directly with customers, trucking companies, and export partners to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Maintain and manage export documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations & Ground Ops.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and delivery performance.
- Ensure high standards of paperwork accuracy and record-keeping.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Support the development of scalable logistics systems as the business grows.
- Be available for flexible working hours to accommodate transport schedules and time-sensitive deliveries.
- Proven background in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the food or fish processing industries.
- Experience with trucking and international export logistics.
- Understanding of export regulations and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new systems, tools, and processes.
- Adaptable and responsive to change in a fast-moving business environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
