Freelance Stock Condition Surveyor - Aylesbury & Reading area

We require experienced stock condition surveyors to undertake condition surveys across the Aylesbury and Reading area.

The role will involve undertaking stock condition surveys to domestic properties, largely to establish condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components, but also to establish energy characteristics and legislative compliance.

Rates are paid per complete survey and are dependent on the survey (type and duration) but surveyors can typically earn in the region of £250 per day. All rates are paid on completion of good quality, fully complete surveys only and payment is not made for travel, accommodation or other expenses; this is all covered in the rate per survey.

Applicants must have experience of undertaking stock condition surveys and be able to evidence this. Experience in HHSRS/construction/surveying is required and an energy qualification would be an advantage.

Projects are undertaken countrywide so a willingness to travel is essential.

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience in undertaking stock condition and energy surveys
• Good working knowledge of HHSRS
• An organised and methodical approach to your work.
• That you are an articulate communicator
• An enthusiastic manner.
• That you are a ‘self-starter’, reliable and can be trusted to deliver to targets
