Description


We are looking to recruit a Vendor Administrator to join our Vendors Team
What’s the opportunity? As part of the vendors team, you’ll be responsible for coordinating on time delivery of Customer Sales Orders. Handling queries from Store and Distribution Teams. You will be supporting the work in all areas of the Vendor Team


Key Responsibilities


  • Review and process supplier booking requests
  • Check import container detail via Shipping Websites
  • Confirm import bookings
  • Monitor and review inbound diaries using BI to ensure smooth inbound across the network
  • Review Store queries, review and respond accordingly
  • Review Distribution queries, review and respond accordingly
  • Review supplier queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Update and review internal reports
  • Support cross functionally across department
  • Supporting supervisor as required
  • Undertakes, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the position

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Excellent organisational, time and diary management skills
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise an ever-changing workload
  • The ability to work under pressure and reach deadlines
  • The ability to build relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts
  • Acute awareness when dealing with confidential, or sensitive information
  • Experience within an administration role
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience of using Microsoft Business Central
  • Experience in logistics is desirable but not essential
  • Team player with a flexible approach and a strong sense of accountability
