The role:

As a Legal Assistant in our Plot Sales department, you will play a vital role in handling the sale of new-build properties for a range of developer clients. You will be responsible for managing documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, and ensuring a smooth and efficient conveyancing process from reservation through to completion.

This role would suit a passionate and dedicated individual with a genuine interest in property work, who is seeking a long-term career opportunity and excels at building strong, lasting relationships with our valued clients.

This role can be based at either our Hull or York office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of plot sale files
  • Preparing contract packs and standard documentation
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, solicitors, and agents
  • Managing completions and post-completion matters
  • Selling part exchange properties on behalf of our clients
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and file management
  • Supporting fee earners and contributing to team targets

About You:

  • Previous experience in a legal assistant, conveyancing or estate agent role is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
