Job Overview
- Working in Technical Services Procurement in the Hard Services (Repair & Maintenance) category, and reporting to the Procurement Lead in your area of activity.
- Support category strategy development, execution and sourcing activity within agreed categories of supply.
- Contribution towards functional and business sector budgets through cost optimisation activity. Target driven.
- Gather spend, volume and service needs data in preparation for RFI and RFP activity.
- Maintain appropriate contract cover with sub contractors.
- Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders and Procurement Business Partners promote category strategy, understand business needs, and drive compliance.
- Maintain KPI and Metrics to measure the performance of the annual savings and supplier performance within the category.
- Track market data and industry analytics to help provide the team with future trends and aid risk management strategies.
- Collect, collate and analyse supplier performance data to support the Supplier Management Framework (SMF) process
- This role will have no direct reports but will require the holder to work in teams and take the lead at times on appropriate subject matter items.
Main Duties
Tasks
- Manage the project pipeline and reporting / forecasting within Provalido savings tracker
- Monitor the Contract renewal pipeline and support the Category Manager in creation, extension or cessation of Master Framework Agreements.
- Support the implementation of new Coupa P2P process and track both performance metrics and exception reporting.
- Prepare and execute eRFx/eAuctions, evaluating, selecting, negotiating and contracting with suppliers.
- Support Accounts Payable with payable issues when escalated to the central procurement team. Facilitate remedial discussions with between AP, Business Unit Operations and Key Suppliers.
- Update and maintain SMF Scorecards and track Supplier Corrective Actions.
- Support Risk Management by tracking supplier performance, financial stability and compliance to Alcumus
- Proactively identify and deliver cost savings, cost reductions and volume-based discount opportunities in accordance with group supply chain and procurement targets
- Support ethical and sustainable sourcing initiatives, modern slavery VCSE and ESG requirements. Manage and maintain feedback on progress from the supply base
- Manage and report on category and sourcing KPIS
- Ensure performance and practices are performed in line with all Supply Chain Policies, Procedures and Systems
- Work in partnership with the wider Procurement department members

What we are looking for
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience/qualifications
- Relevant experience of working with the category of supply
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Commercial procurement experience
- Experience in a fast-paced complex environment, with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers
- Experience in working in a multi-site environment
- Demonstrable category management and negotiating skills
- Competance with Microsoft Office tools and P2P systems.
